Shop Policies

Unlike large clothiers, Petal-Una’s fabrics, garments and accessories are made in small, lovingly created batches and all are one-of-a-kind works of art!  I want you to be fully satisfied with your purchase. To that end, I am happy to answer any questions you have regarding the piece(s) so you can make an informed purchase.  If you are not satisfied with your purchase, please contact me to discuss the return and initiate the return process (see below).   Then, return your purchased item in the condition in which it was received.  Once I receive the item(s), I will give you store credit or refund, less 10% for restocking.  All sale items are final.

If you would like to place a custom order, have any questions about specific garments, or you need any other information about the products shown here, I am happy to assist. Please use the contact form here or on the Petal-Una website and I will reply within 24 hours at the very latest. (Also, see below for more information on Custom Orders.)

Petal-una’s shop is retail only.  By placing your order with Petal-Una Collection on this website, you agree to accept the following terms and conditions. I reserve the right to change or amend the terms and conditions below from time to time.

How I Process Sales Orders:

During flash events, on-line orders are logged in the order they are received, and processed as soon as possible and in any event within 48 hours of receipt of your order. I fill orders from the inventory on hand in my studio in Atlanta, Georgia. All prices on this website are in U.S. dollars.

Since most items are one-of-a-kind pieces, they are delisted upon purchase.  Although I make every effort to ensure that the products shown on-line are currently available, I cannot guarantee that all products and sizes will be available at time of processing your order. If I do not have the product or size you ordered, I will refund your payment promptly.

How I Ship Your Order:

I will ship your completed order within 72 hours of receipt. I ship via USPS priority mail, Monday through Friday.  Right now, shipping is free in the continental U.S.  If you would like a shipping option other than the U.S. Postal Service, please contact me and I will revise your invoice accordingly.

I do not ship outside of the U.S. at this time.

RETURNS

Sale products:  All purchases of product at reduced or stated “sale” prices are final, and no returns will be authorized.

Regularly-priced products: 

Process:  To avoid returns, I invite you to gather as much information as possible on the piece you are interested in purchasing.  Feel free to contact me if the product description does not provide enough detail.  (Please see also the section below entitled “Product Descriptions and Displays.”)

If you have made a purchase and you are not happy with it, email me within 7 days of receipt with a request for refund and your reason for the return. I cannot issue a refund on your return without a return authorization.  If I don’t hear from you within 7 days I will not be able to accept the return.

Following receipt of a return-authorization number, kindly return your item in its original condition and packaging within fourteen (14) days.  A refund (or exchange) will be provided once the returned product has been received by me, less a 10% restocking fee.  You are responsible for all of the costs of delivering the product back to me.

Other Info

CUSTOM ORDERS: 

Please use the contact form to initiate a custom order conversation.  I like to gather a lot of information from you before undertaking a commission.  Also, I require a 50% non-refundable deposit on any special orders.  If you don’t want to place a custom order but have colorways or other garments you would like to see me use/add to the collection, please feel free to message me and I will do my best to build your requests into future pieces.

Credit for styling and photos:

I am a one-person show and do all my own styling and photography, so if you are going to reuse, re-post, blog, tweet or instagram (and I hope you do!!) please credit the photo and styling to Kathy Colt/Petal-Una Collection.

While I make every effort to describe and photograph my products as accurately as I can, I can provide no assurances that the descriptions, sizes and colors of the products on my website will be accurate or that the products displayed will be suitable for the purpose you may intend. If you are concerned about these details, please don’t hesitate to gather as much information about the piece you are interested in before purchasing. I cannot accept liability for claims arising from differences in descriptions, sizes or colors of the product displayed on or purchased through this website.
